The Buoyancy Control System with Acoustic/Timer Actuation (BCS-ATA) is the first easy to use buoyancy control system that enables the active management of payload buoyancy (net positive or net negative) to meet mission objectives. The BCA-ATA provides for system activation by hardwired tablet, acoustic signal or by a pre-programmed timer. The BCS-ATA can be used in demanding applications such as Ordinance recovery, sensitive equipment maintenance and installation. Active Buoyancy Control

An integrated system to control ascent, decent or hover at a user specified rate or depth
Fill and buoyancy control valves continuously open and close as needed to deliver setpoints (not possible with pyrotechnic valves)
