Challenge

In a remote location off of Sardina, the salvage operator Truismar, needed to salvage the luxuary yacht Oceans 5 but did not have a salvage vessel available that could complete the task unaided.

Solution

Using Subsalve’s Professional Liftbags together with an available barge and crane, Turismar was able to successfully raise the Oceans 5.

Outcome

The Oceans 5 was successfully salvaged and returned to port for further recovery work. Demonstrating that liftbags can supplement other available equipment in an effective salvage plan.

The luxury yacht, Oceans 5, sunk after becoming fouled on its anchor. In salvaging the ship off of Sardina, Turismar did not have a vessel available with a crane and sufficient capacity to perform the operation. Using a combination of Subsalve’s Professional Liftbags and their available equipment, Turismar was able to successfully salvage the vessel.
